1B Demar Lights Up Media Whores for 7 RBIs as Crows Extend Lead
The Columbus Crows are one game away from a sweep after a 11-8 win over the visiting Hollywood Media Whores at Alfred Hitchcock Field today. Crows first baseman Tom Demar was named player of the game, as he hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Columbus now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Solecismic Series.

Demar had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Crows went on to win.

"We're happy," Demar told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've pretty much got to treat every game like it could be your last."

Game 4 is scheduled for Friday, November 6th, 2065 at Alfred Hitchcock Field. Slated to start are Tadanori Hori for the Media Whores and Xavier Stines for the Crows.
