    KEN hasn't done anything either; and Lewis still needs to be added to our list.

    He should be on the list, the problem is CAP has two "Zach Cramer" pitchers in their organization (both currently in AAA). The RFA "Zach Cramer" is the older guy.

    Ahhh. Fucking duplicate names. We'll have to make sure he's in RFA.

    There's a note on this in the BoG forum. Loosemoor made a postseason appearance which fouled up his years.

    Balbin...I have no idea there.

    Loosemoor needs to be manually placed into RFA then.

    Also, correct me if I'm wrong but these three for MON all appeared in the playoffs in what would have been their callup years?

    Darryl Lawson Age: 29 call-up eligible
    Marcos Longoria Age: 34 call-up eligible
    Donnie Morris Age: 33 call-up eligible

    I think there was some discussion of granting Subby one makeup year on Loosemore given the bizarre way he technically lose 2 seasons of 100K eligibility due to one very accidental postseason at bat. Don't know if anything was decided on that, but I think losing 1 100K year is enough punishment for the mixup; losing 2 100K years is overkill.

    I think I'm finally on to something as to why the FA script is screwing up.

    It runs under the assumption that lines in the player file are sequential. That is, the 14000th line in the player file will be the player with the ID 14000. So when it passes through the player file, it does something like this:

    @players = split(/,/);
    $player[$player_count]{'number'} = $players[0]; # Player Identifier
    $player_count++;

    Past line 13436 of the player file, this is not the case.

    So later in the file when it is looking to evaluate say, Manny Balbin (ID 15722), it is looking to evaluate things like:

    if($player[$player_number]{'position'} == 1)

    ...where $player_number is taken from the player ID column of the current pitching line being evaluated. Of course that means it is really looking for LINE 15722 of the player file...which actually doesn't exist. Balbin is on line 14633, so his experience tally I *think* is going to go off of the player with that ID. That's this guy. Who has pitched in six different seasons.

    While I might have been tempted when reading the players file to grab the player ID from within the line and use that as the hash key (which is what I am doing to see if this fixes things - it picks up Angelo Castillo where I manually added him before, so this is a good sign), this does beg the question as to what Markus is doing with the player id's.

    In any event, here is what I think is a better list. If you see any changes, go ahead and edit your original reply (and note the player).
