Default Off Season Finances & The OC

Use this as your guide for the OC for FA/trade purposes.

    http://www.thefobl.com/finances/eoyfinances.php

I will try to keep the "trades" column up-to-date to account for cash transfers (like the 9M I need to swap between DUR and RIC).

Yes. The -2.1M was offset by 1M in playoff money and $389,383 in tank distributions.

Noob question: Is the in-game payroll amount (on the Team Roster screen) correct for FOBL? Or are we using some external calculation process that I haven't seen yet? In other words, for SEM, it appears that my currently signed roster is 30,130,000 (based on the in-game figures). My OC is 60,321,973. So I have $30,191,973 remaining in cap space to sign FAs and make trades. Is that correct?

    That part is correct.

Not sure I'd actually *try* to approach 60M...but I guess you can.

The in-game payroll amount should be correct. But you really don't want to spend up to your owner's cap. Unless you're going to have a fire sale after the season, and maybe even at the trade deadline if the team is underperforming. The OC is what you can spend and expect to end the season with $0 cash on hand.

Once you get the hang of them, the financial rules are pretty slick.
